INTRODUCTION 

This policy explains why and when Hair By Fran (“we”, “us” or “our”) collect your personal information and data, how we use it and how we keep it secure. Hair By Fran is the data controller and processes your personal information for the purposes stated in this document. WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT 

When booking an appointment with us we will collect your name, contact details and address. Some services cannot be provided to anyone under the age of 16 so we may have to ask your age as well. We keep records of your services performed and goods sold. We also keep records of any allergy tests and strand tests that are required for services to be performed. 

PURPOSE FOR COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We collect your data to provide you with goods and services, to process payments for goods sold, services performed, and to keep records of your appointments, Your data will be used to contact you for the following reasons:

- Information about your appointment (reminders, confirmations and changes)

- To answer any questions

- For insurance and accounting reasons

- Promotions, special offers and news from Hair By Fran

YOUR RIGHTS 

With the information we collect you have the right to:

- See your personal information we hold

- Ask how we are using your data

- To have your data deleted

- To opt out of receiving marketing and promotional communications

- Update any incorrect information

THIRD PARTIES AND DATA SHARING 

We will never sell or rent your data with third parties. Your data is used in the booking system, payment processing company (when booking online or payment in person) and marketing. Your data is stored on a password protected system and in locked files which we or sub contractors or salon owners and staff of the salon based at Bliss Uckfield Limited only have access to. Staff and subcontractors have access to your data for appointment and marketing purposes. Your data is kept at the registered address of Hair By Fran or Bliss Uckfield Limited.

WHEN AND WHY IT WILL BE DELETED 

General client record cards will be deleted after one year, skin test results will be deleted after four years, and financial records after 6 years. You have the right to ask for this data to be deleted at any point within these time frames.
